Official Rules
Last updated: October 1, 2026
These Official Rules govern two separate promotions run by ServerDrop: the Swipe Sweepstakes and the Referral Contest. They are different promotions with different ways to enter and win. Please read the section that applies to the promotion you are entering. By entering either promotion, you agree to these Rules.
No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.
If a translation of these Rules differs from the English text, the English text applies.
Sponsor
Both promotions are sponsored by ServerDrop, operated by arrowz, based in Ohio, United States ("ServerDrop," "we," "us"). These promotions are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Discord Inc. Nitro and Discord are products of Discord Inc.
Who can enter
The following applies to both promotions. You are eligible to enter only if you:
- Are at least 13 years old (matching Discord's minimum age), and meet the age of majority in your jurisdiction or have permission from a parent or guardian;
- Have a ServerDrop account linked to Discord;
- Are not the operator of ServerDrop or a ServerDrop administrator (operators and admins are not eligible to win); and
- Are entering from a place where the promotion is not prohibited or restricted by law.
The promotions are open worldwide, except where prohibited, restricted, or otherwise regulated by applicable law. Void where prohibited. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, and any taxes on a prize are your responsibility.
Promotion 1: The Swipe Sweepstakes
The Swipe Sweepstakes is a random-draw sweepstakes. Winners are selected at random, skill is not a factor.
Entry period
Each Swipe Sweepstakes runs for the period stated in its announcement. Only entries earned during that period count toward that sweepstakes. The prize and its approximate value are stated in the announcement for each sweepstakes.
How to enter
There are four ways to earn entries. Each sweepstakes uses one or more of them, and its announcement on the ServerDrop website says which ways it uses and how many entries each one is worth. Every sweepstakes has at least one free way to enter. No purchase is ever necessary to enter or win.
Daily swipe (free). Swipe at least one server on ServerDrop during a UTC calendar day and you earn one free entry for that day. You can earn one of these entries per UTC day, and it counts in every open sweepstakes that uses daily swipes.
Earned Drops (bonus entries). Donate earned Drops to a server's ad-fund pool to earn bonus entries: one entry for each set number of Drops you donate, up to a daily maximum. Each sweepstakes states both numbers (usually 50 Drops per entry and up to 10 bonus entries per UTC day). Only Drops you have earned on ServerDrop count. Purchased Drops can never be turned into entries, and this is enforced at the system level. Donating to your own server does not earn entries. Each donation counts toward one sweepstakes only: the one you chose when you donated or, if you did not choose one, the open sweepstakes that uses Drops and closes first.
Join a server (free). A sweepstakes can name a server listed on ServerDrop. Join that server through ServerDrop while you are signed in (for example, with the Join button on its ServerDrop page) during the entry period, and you earn the number of entries stated for that sweepstakes. This counts once per sweepstakes. ServerDrop only names an active listing that is not 18+. Joining a server you own does not count.
Be in the ServerDrop Discord (free). If you are a member of the ServerDrop Discord server, you can earn the number of entries stated for that sweepstakes. During the entry period, press the member entry button for that sweepstakes (on the ServerDrop website or in Discord), and the ServerDrop bot confirms that you are a member. This counts once per sweepstakes.
Entry limits. Daily swipe entries are limited to one per UTC day. Bonus entries from Drops are limited to the daily maximum stated for that sweepstakes. Entries for joining a server and for being in the ServerDrop Discord count once per sweepstakes each. Daily swipe entries are also limited to 30 per IP address per sweepstakes, shared across any accounts using that address, unless the announcement states a different limit. Daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC.
Account age. Entries only count if your Discord account is at least 30 days old when the entry period closes. This applies to every way to enter. A daily swipe also only earns an entry on a day when your Discord account is already at least 30 days old.
How the winner is chosen
One winner is selected at random for each sweepstakes. After the entry period closes, all eligible entries are frozen, and the winner is chosen using a verifiable method: a stored random seed is hashed (SHA-256) and used to select a single winning entry from the frozen pool. Because the seed and the entry pool are recorded, the draw can be independently reproduced and audited. Every entry carries equal weight, whichever way you earned it, so your chance of winning is your number of entries divided by the total number of entries.
If you win
Winners are notified by direct message on Discord and announced in the ServerDrop community Discord server. To claim your prize, press the Claim button in that direct message (or on the /giveaway command) within 7 days of the draw. If a winner does not claim within 7 days, or is found ineligible, ServerDrop may select an alternate winner at its discretion. Prizes are fulfilled manually by ServerDrop, typically as a Discord gift delivered on Discord.
Promotion 2: The Referral Contest
The Referral Contest is a skill- and effort-based contest. Winners are the participants who refer the most qualifying new servers during each contest cycle, it is not a random draw.
Contest cycles
Each contest cycle is 14 days long. Cycles begin on a Monday at 00:00 UTC and run until 00:00 UTC on the Monday two weeks later. The contest runs on an ongoing basis, and the leaderboard resets at the start of each new cycle.
How to enter and what counts
Share your personal referral link, available on your Referrals page on ServerDrop. A referral counts toward your total when someone you refer lists a Discord server that:
- Is at least 14 days old (based on its Discord creation date);
- Has at least 100 members; and
- Is an active, approved listing on ServerDrop.
A referral counts as soon as the referred server meets these conditions, there is no waiting period. You and the person you refer must be different people. Each server can only count as one referral.
How winners are determined
At the end of each contest cycle, the top 3 participants ranked by number of qualifying referrals during that cycle win prizes:
- 1st place: 3 months of Nitro
- 2nd place: 2 months of Nitro
- 3rd place: 1 month of Nitro
If two or more participants are tied on referral count, the tie is broken in favor of whoever reached that count first. Before any prize is awarded, ServerDrop reviews the top of the leaderboard to confirm the referrals are legitimate.
Fair play
Self-referrals are not allowed and do not count. Referring servers using accounts you control, or any attempt to manipulate the leaderboard, will result in disqualification and forfeiture of prizes, at ServerDrop's discretion. ServerDrop's determination of the winners is final.
If you win
Winners are notified by direct message on Discord and announced in the ServerDrop community Discord server. ServerDrop will contact you by direct message to arrange delivery of your prize, and you must respond within 7 days of being notified. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, or is found ineligible, ServerDrop may select an alternate winner at its discretion. Prizes are fulfilled manually by ServerDrop, typically as a Discord gift delivered on Discord.
Both promotions
Drops have no monetary value. Drops are a virtual feature of ServerDrop, cannot be redeemed for cash, and have no value outside the platform.
Privacy. Information you provide in connection with a promotion is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes and cancellation. ServerDrop may modify, suspend, or cancel either promotion at any time, including if the promotion cannot be run as planned or is compromised. Where a winner has already been validly determined, that result stands.
Not affiliated with Discord. These promotions are not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Discord Inc.
